A National Lottery project to redevelop the whole museum.

We undertook a Visitor Experience and Engagement Review to look at the potential for developing The Gurkha Museum on its present site to transform the visitor experience and turn a small military museum into the global reference point for Gurkha heritage.

We explored the current visitor experience and visitor offer, along with suggestions for improvements, and options for development, linked to opportunities to increase earned income and build future resilience.

The review fed into the development proposals and the Museum’s successful National Lottery funding application.
